Our office is closed to walk-ins today, Thursday Dec 5th and tomorrow, Friday Dec 6th due to the weather emergency. Our staff is working remotely and ready to handle any questions or needs you may have so business as usual in that sense.
With white out conditions in alot of areas, we do not advise driving today if you don’t need to be. Even if the roads appear clear be aware of open areas where blowing and drifting snow can cause visibility to go to zero in a second. Some other things to think about: Make sure your furnace vents are cleared out and snow does not accumulate or drift around them. If that happens your furnace will shut off, or worse carbon monoxide can get back into the home. Please make sure your carbon monoxide detectors batteries are fresh heading into our winter season. Keeping after accumulating snow and icicles along eaves and gutters is also recommended. And please keep your walks open and clear of snow and ice for our postal workers and public service people.
A little patience goes a long way in times like these. If you have an elderly or disabled neighbor please check in on them from time to time.
