Mark grew up in Girard, graduating from Girard High School in 1984. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1988. Later that year he went to work at a local insurance agency, becoming licensed one year later.
In 1993, Mark began working at Bay Area Insurance Services, and in 1997 earned his CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation. In 2016 he completed his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation.
Mark is married and has one daughter, and still lives in Girard. He enjoys watching Steelers football and taking on projects around the house.
