Bill Wisniewski retired last month after spending the last 44 years in the insurance industry, the last thirty years proudly representing Erie Insurance. Bill expresses his gratitude to all his clients for both their friendship and business over the years. We wish him good health and happiness as he begins this next stage of his life!
Bill began his insurance career in 1976 with Met Life as an agent. He then joined the Travelers as the Financial Services Manager from 1980 until 1990. That spring he joined the Phillips Insurance Agency as an independent agent representing Erie Insurance. He acquired that agency in 1995 from Deak Phillips, changing the name to the Phillips-Wisniewski Insurance Agency. In August of 2016 he merged with the Cronk Insurance Agency.
He is a graduate of Tech Memorial. Bill obtained his LUTCF designation in 1998 and qualified for both the National Quality Award and the National Sales Achievement Award numerous times during his 40 year insurance career. He is also the past president and former director of the Erie Association of Life Underwriters and has served on the Erie Family Life Agent Task force.
Born in Erie, he now resides in Millcreek with his wife Liz and has two daughters, Angela and Kimberly. Bill enjoys golf and is a Cleveland sports fan for all of their pro teams. He has served as a lector at St. George Church in Erie for the past 20 years.
